Latrice Knighton is a seasoned family law attorney licensed in both North Carolina and Wisconsin. She recently joined Life Path Legal, where she focuses on divorce, custody, child support, and post-separation legal matters. With over 14 years of experience, Latrice is known for guiding clients through complex and emotional transitions with clarity, strategy, and compassion.
Latrice began her legal career after earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School. She has served as a family law firm partner, an Assistant District Attorney, and a legislative policy analyst—giving her a well-rounded understanding of both courtroom dynamics and policy impacts. She is also a trained mediator, Guardian ad Litem, and collaborative divorce professional.
Throughout her career, Latrice has helped over 1,000 clients leave marriages that no longer work for them, while protecting their peace of mind, financial security, and relationships with their children. Her work is especially centered on helping parents prepare for the legal process with confidence.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Neuroscience and Psychology, along with a certificate in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Outside of the office, Latrice enjoys traveling, exercising, and spending time with her husband and their twins.
